Art Deco Hotel Montana is a 4-star superior boutique hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland, with 63 rooms and 16 distinct room categories. With a diverse demand landscape, fluctuating between peak and low seasons, and a massive price range difference between room categories, choosing the right revenue management tool was essential to remain competitive.

The challenge: inflexible pricing and manual processes

We were relying on the best available rate (BAR) to price our rooms. This approach had clear limitations — it was inflexible and required many manual processes which simply couldn’t withstand our hotel's complexity or keep up with market demand.

We knew it was time for a significant upgrade to better automate our pricing strategy and make key operational efficiencies to capitalize on our wide-ranging room categories.
