How Hotel Collections Boost Revenue Through Duetto Partnership

Robust revenue management is vital for navigating today’s ever-changing market demand. That is why global hotel memberships work closely with Duetto to help drive revenue strategy best practices and tech adoption among their member properties.

Leading hotel representation companies, such as Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, Hersha Hospitality, and Leading Hotels of the World, work with Duetto as a preferred partner to provide revenue management solutions to help their member hotels price smart, report accurately, and optimize contract business.

Here’s how Duetto’s revenue strategy solutions work with global representation groups around the world:

Leading Hotels of the World

In 2022, Duetto was chosen as a preferred RMS vendor for Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), the world’s largest collection of independent luxury properties, with more than 400 member hotels in over 80 destinations.

Duetto, the first and only cloud-native Revenue Management System, was chosen for its advanced technology architecture, extensive integrations, and flexible solutions.

Several hotels from the LHW collection are already running their revenue on Duetto, including the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa, a five-star hotel affectionately known as ‘The Grande Dame of Swiss luxury hotels’, and boasting a picturesque location in Interlaken, Switzerland.

“We started Duetto at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, not the best time we thought at first. But everything has developed positively. We were able to increase ADR and the revenue markups for more room categories. This would be impossible without a system like Duetto,” said Annett Richter, Director of Revenue at Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa.

Another LHW working with Duetto is Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. This Mexican resort is smaller in size in terms of room count compared to other resorts in its comp set, and therefore it works with Duetto to protect offerings on each room type, while ensuring competitive pricing to maximize revenues.

“We have implemented several pricing rules on Duetto to be more dynamic with all segments and channels, which helps to increment room revenue,” said Sarai Ixtabai Muñiz Arias, Revenue Manager, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos.

“Automatization on rate changes and restrictions has helped to improve timings to have the correct rate at the right moment,” she added.

Curator Hotel & Resort Collection

In early 2021, Curator selected Duetto as its preferred revenue technology partner. Together, the two companies have helped bolster the fortunes of Curator’s member hotels, even in times of great market uncertainty.

“Duetto provides hotels with the ability to dial in their strategy exactly and tell the system precisely how to price and control their inventory.  Especially, as we look less to history and more to the current and future, the “art” that revenue managers bring to the equation is increasingly important.  Duetto is unique in its ability to not just deploy rate recommendations, but to truly arm revenue managers with automation and tools to support the execution of their ever-evolving strategies,” said Austin Segal, Vice President, Curator Hotel & Resort Collection.

“Duetto is a huge supporter of partnerships, innovation, and outside-of-the-box research and thinking.  Likewise, Curator is eager to shift status quos and find new ways of doing things with technology.  Duetto has proven to be an eager and open partner with us as we explore new revenue, sales, and marketing ideas and will continue to work with us as we bring different platforms and technologies together to make our member hotels stronger,” added Segal.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts

Noble House Hotels & Resorts is one of the six founding partners of the Curator Hotel & Resort Collection. Noble House operates a collection of independent lifestyle resorts, hotels, and restaurants throughout the United States and Canada, all revenue optimizing on Duetto.

Noble House adopted Duetto in early 2021. Darrell Stark, VP of Revenue Management & Distribution at Noble House Hotels & Resorts, oversaw the project.

“There are a couple of things that really separated this product. One was the ease of use. That was huge. Not only from the revenue management side, but really from the group evaluation side,” said Stark.

“And then there is tracking that can be embedded into a website, which is one of the things I think that we have always been missing. To be able to track what's happening on your website, and understand what happened in the funnel, that's huge. That was a big game changer for us,” Stark added.

Hersha Hospitality

The hospitality investment firm, Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM), selected Duetto’s Revenue Strategy Platform in 2020 for its Independent Collection – a growing portfolio of boutique, lifestyle, and luxury hotels across the United States.

HHM is one of the fastest-growing management, investment, and development firms in the hospitality sector, with 135 hotels and more than $1 billion in managed revenues.

HHM partnered with Duetto to enhance the collection’s ability to scale easily while providing solutions to help on-property teams maximize revenue opportunities from unstable demand.

“We were looking for an RMS that brought together best-in-class technology with cutting-edge methodologies to optimize our revenue management and distribution strategies while aligning with our core values. We believe we have found a partner in Duetto who will remain nimble, engage with our team, and deliver results of true excellence,” said Dani Elhachem, Executive Vice President, HHM.

“We see this as a long-term partnership that will help us provide further value to our owners and properties. The platform is intuitive and easy to use for our on-property teams,” added Elhachem.

Duetto builds powerful alliances with independent hotel memberships, providing member hotels with access to award-winning technology through a preferred vendor agreement. This helps independent hotels to optimize revenue, boost profitability, and drive efficiencies, ensuring they remain competitive against big brand operators.
