It's hard to believe our EMEA team has once again outgrown our office and moved into larger space in London’s vibrant media and theatre hub of Waterloo. When we opened our EMEA headquarters in London three years ago, it was just half a dozen others and myself, and I’m not sure anyone in the industry knew what Duetto was.
A lot has changed in a little time. This is our third office and we’ve now got more than 20 people based here. We have approximately 2,000 hotels and casinos partnering with us around the world, and almost half of those are in Europe.
We are proud to work with many innovative hotel companies from the very big (NH Hotel Group) to the very small (Nira Hotels & Resorts), from beach (Palladium Hotel Group) to city centre (GLH), from luxury (Nobu Hotel Shoreditch) to budget (easyHotel), from Finland (Primehotels) to South Africa (Legacy Hotels and Resorts) via Dubai (First Central Hotel Suites), and everything in between. It’s a great mix and one we hope to continue to grow.

Not Your Ordinary Hotel Tech Company
While our reach has expanded, what hasn't changed is our unique way of doing things. Duetto launched with some of the brightest cloud technologists and paired them with some of the most experienced — and passionate — hospitality experts. Together, we challenge each other every day and that drives us to find new and better solutions to the industry’s greatest problems.
It started with Open Pricing, which turned the traditional approach to pricing and revenue management upside down. We don’t even call it revenue management and have advocated for a holistic Revenue Strategy that brings together sales, marketing, revenue management and all revenue generating functions together working toward a common goal — increased revenue and profitability.
Our cloud technology and advanced analytics make that possible, and our Customer Success team ensures it happens. It’s why we’ve built our team with experienced revenue managers who understand our customers’ challenges and can speak their language. The combination of our unique approach and delivery is why our customers are seeing such amazing results – on average, our fully deployed customers saw a 6.5% RevPAR Index lift in 2016.
But what I love the most is how much fun we have while doing all that. Located at 2-6 Boundary Row, our London home is as quirky as our company culture. The office interiors are built around the theme of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and, while there are no unicorns (yet) there’s plenty of originality in the office design.
Being Creative and Challenging Convention
At Duetto, we aim to challenge convention and pride ourselves on providing a creative working environment in which our talented associates can thrive.
We don’t believe sitting at a desk 9-5 is right for everyone, and with customers and offices all around the globe, it’s not practical. At the same time, we’ve become a family and, at least for me, it doesn’t feel like I’m at work when I’m in the office.
While we embrace an alternative work culture often associated with startups, we’ve grown far beyond that and are recognized across the world as a robust and professional company that puts excellence at the heart of everything we do. I’ve worked in hospitality for more than 15 years and at Duetto the speed and quality of product delivery is unprecedented, as are the talent and customer-centricity of the people who ensure our customers achieve the greatest results possible.
If you ever find yourself in London’s Waterloo and fancy falling through the rabbit hole into our fantasy world at Boundary Row to see the magic for yourself, you’ll be more than welcome.
