Duetto co-founder Patrick Bosworth explains how our Open Pricing methodology was born and how this ensures hotels are open and selling all the time.

Before Open Pricing, hotels were using Best Available Rate (BAR), which works by offering prices as fixed modifiers off BAR. This is restrictive and can lead to mispricing.

With Open Pricing, hotels can offer as many incremental price points on the demand curve as possible. Pricing each day, room type, channel, and segment, independently in line with demand.
