Live! Casino & Hotel is a first-class resort destination in Maryland and Philadelphia, with a new location in Louisiana opening soon. Our properties offer the best in gaming, entertainment, and dining. They also include a luxury hotel that offers elegant guest rooms and suites, with additional spa facilities in Maryland.
We started using Duetto in 2016 to optimize our room revenues, integrating the revenue management system with SHR, our booking engine, and channel and distribution manager.
How do you use Duetto?
As a casino-hotel, strategically integrating our casino business into the overall hotel mix to maximize gaming returns is a central part of our strategy. Duetto allows us to effectively manage and synergize our pricing strategy across our sales, transient, and casino segments.
In addition to the fantastic toolkit Duetto provides in terms of automating pricing and availability rules, it enables us to dynamically yield our casino rooms based on segmentation and reinvestment considerations at the daily level — our contact center relies on Find My Rate to quote personalized rates.
Furthermore, Duetto is the engine behind our rate and restriction management, so we can be targeted in applying pricing changes and restrictions based on demand, occupancy, and days before arrival criteria.
Additionally, the event logging and categorization features allow us to set our pricing and forecast based on events triggering demand for our properties. This is especially important to our Philadelphia property as it’s located at the heart of the Philly Stadium district where you can walk to three massive venues from the hotel.
How do you use SHR?
SHR currently functions as our booking engine, hotel transactional email platform, and channel manager, providing connectivity to online travel agencies and global distribution systems. We’ve enabled the SHR booking engine to allow our Live! Rewards members to book casino hotel offers, as well as access personalized casino rates curated by Duetto.
