Duetto Enters Technology Partnership with HOST PMS

Integration between Portugal’s leading hotel tech provider and Duetto goes live as international tourism to the country recommences.

San Francisco, JUNE 3, 2021Duetto, hospitality’s innovative software as a service provider of revenue strategy solutions, has entered into a technology partnership with Portugal’s HOSTPMS, a provider of cloud-based hotel technology systems.

The two-way integration between Duetto and HOST PMS will provide a seamless exchange of data on bookings, blocks, and inventory, as well as restrictions, supporting Duetto’s Open Pricing methodology.

Hotels in Portugal are already benefiting from this new integration. For example, boutique five-star property Bairro Alto Hotel in Lisbon has been able to start optimising rates on Duetto ahead of re-opening on July 1, 2021.

Bairro Alto Hotel has contracted with Duetto’s GameChanger for pricing optimization, ScoreBoard for intelligent reporting, and BlockBuster for contracted business, all of which now integrate with the HOST PMS.

The hotel used its closed period to train its revenue team on Duetto and how it works with HOST PMS. This enabled the property to begin publishing rates on Duetto as soon as the travel corridor between the UK and Portugal was reopened.

“We chose Duetto as our RMS with the goal to improve our commercial strategy by bringing forward-looking data into our revenue decisions. The integration between Duetto and our PMS, HOST, will be vital for us through our rates optimization as we ramp up our revenue strategy after months of being closed,” said Julia Caetano, Revenue Manager, Bairro Alto Hotel.

“We are definitely very proud to have Duetto working alongside HOST PMS. We understand how important it is to have excellent data quality to sell the right room at the right price. It is amazing how Duetto keeps the standards above excellence to deliver an accurate price optimization to our customers,” said Ana Glória, Partnerships Manager at Host Hotel Systems. “As a consequence, the integration represents a significant benefit for our customers: time will be saved in operations with the automation of complex tasks and more value will be added to both the RMS solution and Host PMS,” said Ana Glória, Partnerships Manager at Host Hotel Systems.

“The integration between Duetto and HOST allows us to ensure our joint client Bairro Alto Hotel is now ready to optimize rates as demand resumes,” said Chris Crowley, SVP, Global Sales, Duetto. “We look forward to this partnership with HOST allowing us to help other clients manage their revenue strategy to ensure they can drive performance and enhance revenue.”

Duetto currently supports more than 50 certified integrations. The Duetto Revenue Strategy Platform is also supported by strategic technology partnerships with Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, HTNG, and STR.
